SICASH 2022
CREATING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS THROUGH RESEARCH
The Faculty of Humanities and Sciences reached another milestone in research by holding its third consecutive conference on the 11th October 2022. The conference theme for this scholarly venture was ‘Creating Innovative Solutions through Research’ setting the platform for 55 local and international presenters of diverse disciplines to disseminate knowledge. Subject-specific and multidisciplinary conference papers in the fields of Natural Sciences, Nursing and Health Sciences, Law, Psychology, Education, English Language and Literature, and Mathematics and Statistics were selected after a double blind peer review process by eminent scholars in the respective fields.
Prof. Katherine B. Ensor the President of American Statistical Association from the University of Rice, USA graced the occasion as the keynote speaker of SICASH 2022. Furthermore, the plenary speeches conducted by Dr. Subhashinie Wijesundera Dr. Romola Rassool Mr. Prasantha Lal De Alwis PC. Prof. S. Sanjeewa Nishantha Perera Prof. Upali Samarajeewa Dr. Sunil De Silva and Prof. Piyanjali de Zoysa added to the scholarly value of SICASH 2022.
